Why should I visit the Made By Ascot showroom before ordering?

Visiting allows you to physically test couch height, seat depth, and cushion firmness. It provides a tactile experience where you can feel fabric textures and finalise your custom dimensions with absolute certainty before commissioning your bespoke piece.

Where is the Made By Ascot showroom located, and is it near the factory?

The showroom is situated at the 5 Section Street, cnr of Section and Shropshire street, in Paarden Eiland, Cape Town. It is located around the corner from the main Ascot Upholstery factory, just a 3-minute walk (250 metres) away, making it easy to experience our finished pieces right where they are crafted.

Can I test different cushion densities at the showroom?

Yes. We have various seat cushion builds available on our showroom floor. You can sit on our display couches to compare firm high-density foam against softer cushion wraps to find your ideal comfort level.

Can I buy items directly off the showroom floor?

While our primary focus is bespoke manufacturing and custom orders, select showroom pieces including scatter cushions, accent chairs, and floor samples are occasionally available for immediate purchase.
